End of the Year Soccer Party

Tonight we had our end of the year party.  It was a chance to eat some good food and celebrate a great season!

Players also got the chance to sell coffee for our upcoming trip!

Fundraising

As part of fundraising students will be selling Britt coffee from Costa Rica. Bags of coffee range from $12-$14 a bag. Coffee available for purchase include Britt's Whole Bean, Light Roast, Dark Roast, Fair Trade, Organic, and Decaf. Thursday (October 13) Holland Christian will be hosting an Alumni Soccer game. HC Soccer alumni will get the chance to play the current Varsity team. The game starts at 7:00pm. During the game we will be selling Costa Rican Coffee and accepting donations for our service trip next summer. Hope to see you there!

Halftime Fundraising

During halftime of HC Boy's Varsity Soccer games we have been holding Penalty Kick Shootouts! Fans are allowed to come down from the stands and for $1 they can take a penalty kick against one of Holland Christian's student athletes. If the penalty kick is scored they receive a prize!

All the money goes to support our students with the overall cost of the trip. Our next and last PK shootout will be Monday October 10 during halftime of the Holland Christian vs Rogers semi final conference tournament game.

Take the Holland Christian High School Boy's soccer team on a soccer intensive misson trip to Quepos, Costa Rica during the summer of 2012. The trip will focus on serving the local community through partnering with El Puente Christian School to run soccer outreach camps, as well as working along side of local Ministries to aide in service projects. While in Quepos, HC students will be able to visit local schools and scrimmage local teams, connecting and building relationships with the Costa Rican community.
