Exchanging jerseys after soccer matches is a long standing tradition at the club and international level. Often times players will exchange jerseys as a sign of respect for their opponent and the acknowledgement of a game well played. The jersey will also serve as a souvenir. Down in Costa Rica we plan on exchanging jerseys after our games and scrimmages. Regardless of if we receive a jersey or not in return, this act of giving away a jersey will hopefully build our relationship with the Quepos community.
